Thousand Oaks Screen Repair

For the most simple screen repair that will make a world of difference is the screen door upgrade.  This is a service we offer when the frame of the sliding screen is still good enough to upgrade it.  The actual upgrade includes new rollers, new screen mesh, adjustment, track brushing and lubing.

What we do to get the door screen to work better than when we started with it is, If the frame is slightly bent,we try and fix that, then put on the new rollers which really makes the screen roll like new.  And finally we brush out the tracks and lube them and rescreen the frame.  All this will get your patio door ready for many more seasons to come.

No window screen job too small in the city in Thousand Oaks

I do a lot of screen job that re one or two window screen rescreen or re framed new. Some customer have just a couple screens, maybe one will be buckled and the other frame might be fine, but it might need a rescreen.  Jobs like these are very common and I’ll take them all because I’m always in Thousand Oaks.

Jammed screen door repair

Checking and Cleaning

The best thing to do when your sliding screen door is jammed is to check several things to find the problem.  First you want to make sure your tracks and channels are cleaned and oiled properly.  For cleaning we recommend using a hose to hose off the dirt and little rock from the tracks, you don’t have to take the patio screen off to do this, just wash away dirt and let it dry.

lubricating

For lubrication on the track we recommend once tracks are cleaned and dry, spray some wd40 on bottom and top channel and on wheels as well for best results.  Then it’s time for roller adjustment and you will need a screw driver.  turning clockwise the door will lift the frame off the track and set it free to slide properly.  If you decide you would like some help doing this please give me a call and I’ll make sure you have a perfect screen before I leave.  My areas are! New sliding screen door installation in Oak Park

We just installed a brand new sliding screen door in the city of Oak Park. The job order was for a white sliding door and it had to be a heavy duty frame because the customer had problems with dogs and cats climbing on the screen mesh material and kids running into it and pushing on the screen.

One thing that was a must for our client was that they did not want to have to take measurements and have to order the patio screen door by themselves so they hired us because we are totally mobile and do all our jobs onsite without making our client wait for service men to come and go, over and over again a few times to finish the job.  We do it in one day, clean up and we are done. The end results are you get a new, perfectly made custom sliding screen.
