Planning on starting Spring cleaning early, you might want to do a sliding screen door replacement as-well.  When you go in and out of your patio many times a day, a good patio door is very important.  Today i replaced a porch door for a new one and the customer loved it.  The screen doors I install are the highest quality made.

Thousand Oaks sliding screen door

When a sliding screen door starts giving you problems sliding, it might be time for repair. We come out check it to see is the frame is in good condition, then we check the roller set to see if it still turns good.  All four rollers should spin good and adjust up and down.  If you use a screw driver you should be able to raise and lower each wheel.

If the doors frame is good and straight we should be able to rescreen it,our different meshes are, regular fiberglass for simple insect protection,then we carry the pet screen which is for dogs cats and kids.  This pet proof mesh is 7 times stronger then the regular screen mesh and also last just as long.

When your ready to buy a sliding screen door you need to know if you are going to install it yourself 0r call a mobile screen company and have them do the installation. Doing the job yourself is a bigger task than you might think. A sliding screen door moves a lot everyday and It needs to be made and installed right. There are many frame and mesh types to choose from and some other things you should know before you buy a sliding screen door. Don’t make the same mistake many homeowner do by installing a screen doors that does not fit right or slide right, if you do everyone in the household will constantly be fighting with it to try to get in and out of the house.  If you have a screen company install one, it will be done right and last about 20 to 30 years.

Installing the screen door yourself and what you will need:

If you want to take on the task of buying and installing a sliding screen door yourself  you will need to know how to measure the opening right, too much and the screen will get jammed too little and your new screen door is going to slide right off the track. Heavy Duty Sliding Screen Door

The heavy duty sliding patio screen door is the strongest screen door out on the market and even stronger if you get it with “Pet Screen” and worth the little extra money you pay between this slider door and the regular standard screen. The Heavy Duty sliding screen door is made from extruded aluminum. Its dimensions are 2-1/2″. Extruded aluminum frame is much stronger than the roll formed aluminum frames offered at the hardware stores. The 1-1/4″ steel rollers are housed in upgraded non-corrosive stainless steel.
