Screen Door in Thousand Oaks

It’s very frustrating when your screen door  does not slide good on the track. It can be one of two main problems homeowners in Thousand Oaks, one is that it’s fall off the track or rocks from side to side getting jammed,  grinding and drags across the sliding door.  Two is that it the encasement makes it stick and it wont move properly, in any case I will fix the problem. There are a few options and some may depend on the amount of money you are willing to spend.

Repairing the screen is the  first option, and I start by checking the frame to make sure it will slide smoothly and hold up, next I look at the top and bottom rollers to make sure the are in good working condition.  The wheels may look good but if the are rusted, oxidized they may have to be replaced.  Finally I look ate the screen mesh material to see if it need to be re screened, if it does you have choices of Pet screen, and regular charcoal fiberglass.  I do guarantee the way the mesh is put on the frame, it should hold plenty of weight so it does not come off the screen frame.  After all the options are looked at by me, I offer the client all the options and if possible and the client agrees the job will be done on the spot.
